Dr. Reichard is President Emeritus of Johnston Community College following a ten- year tenure. Previously he was President and Academic Dean at James Sprunt Community College for fifteen years. His began his career as a faculty member and department head at Paul D. Camp Community College in Virginia. He has been associated with North Carolina State University as the Director of the Dallas Herring Leadership Program (2009-10) and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor since 1995. Internationally, he worked with the two-year colleges in Great Britain and Thailand. He is a recipient of the numerous awards including the NCCCS Wachovia President of the Year Award, David Pierce Organizational Leadership Award, ACCT Southern Region - Chief Executive Officer of the Year Award and the State of North Carolina- The Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
