He is the retired president of Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute and served as interim president at Mayland CC, James Sprunt CC, Martin CC and Johnston CC. He has conducted numerous presidential searches in NC and is the recipient of numerous awards including the NCCCS President of the Year, the I.E. Ready Community College Leadership award, and the NC Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
Myra B. Johnson
Ed.D in Higher Education Leadership, Ed.S, HIgher Education Administration, Appalachian State University; MBA and BSBA in Marketing, Western Carolina University. She began her community college career teaching business courses before moving into administration. She is the retired president of Isothermal CC and has conducted numerous presidential searches in NC. Her expertise with the Internet brings forth information and insights not available in the applications alone.
Donald L. Reichard
Ed. D. in Higher Education Administration, The College of William and Mary.; M.A. in Political Science and U. S. History and B.S. Ed., Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is the former president of James Sprunt CC and retired president of Johnston CC. He has extensive experience soliciting, evaluating, and interviewing presidential candidates. He is a recipient of the NCCCS President of the Year, the David Pierce Organizational Leadership Award, and NC's Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
Michael R. Taylor
Ed.D in Higher Education Administration, University of North Carolina- Greensboro; BS and M.Ed., East Carolina University; additional graduate work in political science at Appalachian State University. He is the retired president of Stanly CC and was honored by the state-wide Student Government Association, who set up the Dr. Michael Taylor Community Service Award to an NC CC student. He is a recipient of NC's Order of the Long Leaf Pine and has read and reviewed hundreds of presidential applications from around the country.
